1. Agreement to Terms
By engaging KV Services for landscaping or lawn care services — whether in person, by phone, or through our website — you (“Customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not engage our services.
2. Services
KV Services provides residential and commercial landscaping and lawn care services in the Rockville, MD area and surrounding regions. Specific services, scope of work, pricing, and frequency will be outlined at the time of booking or in a separate service agreement.
We reserve the right to decline, modify, or discontinue any service at our discretion, with reasonable notice provided to the Customer.
3. Service Scheduling & Access
- Customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the property on the scheduled service date.
- If access is denied or the property is inaccessible (e.g., locked gate, pets loose, obstructions), the visit may be skipped and the full service fee may still apply.
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of scheduling changes due to weather, equipment issues, or other circumstances.
4. One-Time Services
For single or non-recurring jobs, the agreed price is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise arranged in writing. KV Services reserves the right to require a deposit for larger one-time projects prior to scheduling.
5. Recurring Service Agreements
Customers who enter into a recurring service arrangement agree to the following:
- Services will be performed on a regular schedule as mutually agreed.
- Either party may cancel a recurring agreement with at least 7 days’ written notice prior to the next scheduled service.
- Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice before a scheduled visit may be subject to a cancellation fee.
- KV Services reserves the right to adjust pricing for recurring services with at least 30 days’ notice to the Customer.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of each service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept cash, check, and electronic payment methods as communicated at time of service.
- Invoices not paid within 15 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee of up to 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- KV Services reserves the right to suspend services for accounts with outstanding unpaid balances.
7. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Customers may cancel or reschedule a service appointment by contacting us at 301-947-9655 or info@kv-services.com.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
- KV Services may reschedule services due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions at no penalty to either party.
8. Property & Liability
- Customer is responsible for marking or identifying any underground utilities, irrigation systems, invisible fencing, or other hazards on the property prior to service.
- KV Services is not liable for damage to unmarked or hidden property features.
- KV Services carries general liability insurance. Any claims for property damage must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the service date.
- KV Services is not responsible for normal wear and tear, pre-existing conditions, or damage caused by acts of nature.
9. SMS Text Message Communications
By providing your mobile phone number to KV Services — whether on a service form, verbally at time of booking, or through any other means — you consent to receive SMS text messages from us related to your service, including appointment reminders and service confirmations.
- Message Frequency: Varies based on your service schedule.
- Message & Data Rates: Standard rates from your mobile carrier may apply.
- Opt-Out: Reply STOP to any SMS message at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive a single confirmation and no further messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
Opting out of SMS communications does not cancel your service agreement.
10. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe on the rights of others. You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its related systems.
- Use the website to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content.
- Reproduce, distribute, or exploit any website content without our written permission.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the website at any time without notice.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the KV Services website — including text, images, logos, and graphics — is the property of KV Services and may not be used, copied, or reproduced without prior written consent.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services and website are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that our website will be error-free or uninterrupted.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, KV Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.
14. Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless KV Services, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of the Customer’s misuse of our services, breach of these Terms, or misrepresentation of property conditions.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Montgomery County, Maryland.
16. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
