2. Property Access and Obstacles
Pre-Clearance Requirement: The Client is responsible for keeping all designated clearance areas free of vehicles, trash cans, toys, extension cords, door mats, and other debris.
Obstacle Buffers: To prevent damage, operators will not use snow blowers or shovels within [Insert Distance, e.g., 2 feet] of any parked vehicle or fragile property. Snow around these items will be left untouched.

This is especially true for uneven, cracked, or heaved surfaces.
Turf/Lawn Damage: Minor turf damage or sod displacement at the immediate edge of the driveway or walkway is a common byproduct of winter clearing and is not the responsibility of the Contractor.
4. Ice, Refreezing, and Slip-and-Fall Disclaimer
No "Bare Pavement" Guarantee: Shoveling and snow blowing clear bulk accumulation but do not automatically melt or remove thin ice, packed ice, or frost.
Refreezing: The Contractor is not liable for hazardous conditions caused by melting and subsequent refreezing (such as black ice or runoff), natural shifting of snow piles, or weather conditions that occur after the service has been performed. The application of ice-melt/salt is a separate service and must be requested explicitly.
